Geometry and Form: Architectural Design Elements & Principles
Introduction
With the title "Expressions through Architecture Design Elements and Principles", this project aims to introduce a basic understanding of architectural design elements and principles, processes, and approaches in generating ideas, developing design, creating geometric 2D artworks (tattoo stamp), and transforming them into 3D form (model).
Objectives
- Through workshop-based learning, examine diverse approaches to developing ideas through rigorous design processes.

- To investigate different types of design concepts in terms of self-expression and communication.

- To improve ability to create three-dimensional designs that can be transformed using diagrams.
Learning Outcomes
- Create design concepts by combining ideas from diverse sources and abstracting them.

- Identify important architectural design elements and principles and apply them to the creation of a space-making architectural composition.
​
- To illustrate and convey the design, while demonstrating adequate manual drawings and model-making skills.
